This evening I will burn candles, make offerings, burn some incense, reflect and meditate. It's bitterly cold outside with strong winds blowing and therefore not conducive to outside ritual so I will have to keep most of it indoors tonight. A bit of a disappointment but I'll live. I wasn't able to locate any living mistletoe which is also a disappointment but perhaps next year will yield better results. We'll be staying in, staying warm, and hoping for more gentle temperatures than those we have so far!

I'm fortunate to have a grove in my backyard that we planted last spring. It gives me a sacred space along with the two beautiful old walnut trees that have also graced the land my home dwells on for more than 100 years.
