Do yourself a favor and watch the CBC's documentary - 'The Disappearing Male'. It's approximately 45 minutes long. It may be information you're familiar with, but it's presented in such a way that will give pause even to the far right. For if you are patriarchal, how can you maintain your kingdom with no kings? It may be evolution at work or it could be mass suicide/homocide but no matter what you call it, it's something to ponder.....
And with that I'll leave you to form your own opinions as I've formed my own.

Life will find a way.
I've seen this topic come up before, and while it is sad and unfortunate if the subject is taken to the extremes implied, it will just allow us left-winger crunchy New Age guys a better foothold on the evolutionary ladder and slowly out-reproduce those affected by the commercial consumption of toxins.
not agreeing that's a good thing, but it's a pragmatic answer I suppose. :)

Funny how "left-wing" and "liberal" are thrown around by them as though they're an insult to those of us who are proud to be such. Of course none of us are purely good in all of this. All we can do is try to continue improving. The difference is that we acknowledge the problems and work to fix them rather than ignore the problems and deny that they exist.
And then despite all of the warnings and data, when the consequences come to pass blame it on _______ group of people instead of where the blame really belongs - each one of us who took too much and gave to little in return and cared not to show appreciation for the gifts but instead took them all for granted.
