Enough

Typed by Pom

It's raining - again. The smells outside are exquisite and the trees are breathtaking. That is serenity for me. Sanctuary. Everything comes clean, is nourished, and for moments I can see past all of the "progress" of big ugly buildings and stinking automobiles and just enjoy the beauty and peace of it all. I can look out over the tops of thousands of trees and imagine every little critter in their midst given shelter and food. Leaves so emerald in color creating an ocean of waves with their branches. Bliss. Absolute bliss. Standing people all around and yet the walking people pass them by - missing out on the wisest of those in our midst. Searching for answers through technology and noise when it's really only the quiet of the forest that will bring those answers and solutions.

And for today, that is enough for me. Today I can set aside the dreams of snakes that keep returning into our home, clinging to the clothes of those who pass through the doors, hiding out in quiet places until they grow large enough to cause me panic. No, today I'm only with the trees - wet with rain. The Standing ones offer sanctuary and today I need just that.

I knew, on the positive side, that snakes can represent transformation. However, there is also a negative side and I worry that this is what's being represented at this particular time. And last night I dreamt about bugs - gnats or ants to be specific (couldn't make them out as they were all clustered together).

The snakes in my dreams were small when they came in (attached to hubby and kid's clothes) and then hid out until they got very large and came out to harrass me. Strange and full of symbolism that right now I can't even ponder.

Thanks for helping.

Blessings
