My apologies

Typed by Pom

The previous post is just a reflection of how I hear hate speech. It all comes across as completely ignorant and foolish. There is no good argument that defends that way of seeing the world and regardless of anyone's intellect, when they begin to speak in hate about others, that's all I hear.

Of course with someone like me, the arguments of the damage to the economy or family values that people complain about, tend to fall flat. My priorities are different than others and I do believe in leading with love and kindness vs. might and money.

More on this later.

I call it 'choosing to be ignorant',because it has to be a concious decision on their part to ignore common sense, civilised thought, and empirical evidence to the contrary.
What I find especially aggravating,is when they look me dead in the face, and spout their hateful rhetoric as if I look like some one who gives a damn.

Sling,

Thanks for commenting.

I think that they've become so steeped in their own garbage that they don't realize how offensive the stench is to others. They surround themselves with others of like mind and think that they've formed a majority despite that their world has become even smaller when they weren't paying attention.

Thanks for stopping by - sorry it wasn't a more worthy read!

*despite the fact that their world has become even smaller...

I do hate typos - *looks at the clock* perhaps they wouldn't be so frequent if I'd get some decent sleep!
